Rob Lowe has been a significant part of US TV viewing for over four decades after starting his acting career in the ‘70s. He debuted at the tender age of 15 on the short-lived ABC sitcom A New Kind of Family. Since then, the now-57-year-old star has been known as a TV actor, dominating the small screen with the number of TV series he did. He was also part of the famous Brat Pack, making him known as a teen idol.

His life, however, is not always fun and glamorous. Rob experienced an incredible degree of career decline in the ‘80s due to a huge controversy, but he didn’t let it get the best of him. He returned with a vengeance and experienced a successful resurgence during the late ‘90s, starting his breakthrough role as Sam Seaborn in the political drama The West Wing. From one successful project to another, Rob once again becomes a staple in every home.
