Alfred morris – Mazda 626

Alfred Morris, a running back who played for various NFL teams throughout his career, including the Washington Redskins, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Arizona Cardinals, is amusingly still happy with his old, beat-down Mazda 626. He reportedly purchased the car way back in 1991 for—wait for it!—$2 and has kept it ever since.

This despite that he’s as far from bankruptcy as one would expect an NFL player to be and makes millions of dollars from the league. Happily, Mazda, impressed by Morris’ frugality, offered to refurbish the car. We’re not sure if Morris took Mazda’s offer, but it’s likely he did.
