When she was 10 years old, Demi Lovato appeared on the TV series Barney & Friends, which served as a stepping stone to more projects. She later appeared on Camp Rock and its sequel. When Lovato ventured into music, she also found success when her duet with Joe Jonas, This is Me, was met with critical acclaim and became part of the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100.

While a lively and busy life in Hollywood favored Lovato, she wanted to stay low-key for a bit. So she unloaded her Sunset Strip mansion earlier in 2020 in exchange for a more subdued $7 million farmhouse in Los Angeles. It is by no means modest; it is a very elegant estate in the San Fernando Valley that is fitted with a top-of-the-line kitchen, a bar, a soundproof home theater and an elevator. It is also most likely protected by a state-of-the-art home security system.
