Meryl Streep and Grace Gummer

Probably the most prolific actress of her generation, Meryl Streep is known for her capability to portray a wide variety of roles. Her performances speak for themselves as she has countless accolades and has a record of 21 Academy Award nominations and 32 Golden Globes nominations. She has won three and nine of those awards, respectively.

Given all her accomplishments, it is not surprising that her daughter Grace Gummer, who looks exactly like her, would follow in her footsteps. However, Grace, who has a degree in Art History and Italian from Vassar College, has no intention of staying in the shadows of her mother’s success as she has proven to be an outstanding performer herself. Grace has won awards for her Broadway performances and graced our TV screens with roles on Mr. Robot, The Homesman, Good Girls Revolt, Extant, and The Newsroom.
