LEE MERIWETHER – 85

Lee Meriwether will be turning 86 this May. Some remember Meriwether for her majestic beauty and keen talent in acting. Others may associate her with a black suit as she portrayed Catwoman in Batman in 1966. To most, she is the 1955 Miss America titleholder. As everyone has something to remember about Lee Meriwether, it is inevitable to ask where she is right now. Lee Meriwether was pursuing her degree in TV and theatre arts at City College of San Francisco when she got nominated to join Ms.

San Francisco in 1954. She won the said beauty pageant and advanced to compete in Ms. America in 1955. After championing beauty pageant, she joined the Today Show as Today Girl for two years. Meriwether landed her first film acting gig in 1959 for the film 4D. Her most notable role in TV is in Barnaby Jones as betty Jones. Her last TV series was All My Children in 2011, but she is very much active in Hollywood events. She is married to Marshall Borden since 1986, and they are currently living in California.
