Tom Selleck’s iconic role will always be in Magnum P.I., where his good looks were paired with a Ferrari and his signature Hawaiian shirts. Selleck’s career in Hollywood started in commercials. His most popular commercial was being the “Marlboro Man” for Marlboro. His breakthrough on T.V. was in The Rockford Files.

However, it was in the movie Magnum P.I. that won him an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in Drama which was well deserved. Of course, Selleck’s career did not stop there as he also appeared in Runaway, An Innocent Man, The Love Letter, In & Out, and Three Men and a Baby. He also booked a recurring role in Friends. Although his latest projects included filming for Blue Bloods, Selleck has used his investment money to get a ranch for him and his family.
