RON HOWARD

Before he even had to worry about matters such as student loans, Ron Howard already made his way into the entertainment industry. Beginning as a child actor, Ron’s first stints were mainly for guest appearances and minor parts. He eventually achieved widespread recognition for his role as Opie Taylor in The Andy Griffith Show. After a few more acting gigs, Ron has since transitioned to behind-the-scenes work, making films such as Night Shift, Cocoon, A Beautiful Mind, and Cinderella Man.

Over the years, the filmmaker has also owned more than a few lovely houses, including this Encino estate, which he bought during his time on Happy Days. Years after he sold it in 1986 for $808,000, the property was once again purchased, but this time, for an astounding $3.4 million. Along with its overall gorgeous design, this haven also has a guesthouse, a pond, multiple patios, and a swimming pool, among many things, to keep its residents entertained.
