Giving life to Storm of the X-men franchise also made her a household name since she was virtually what most people would have wanted for a character. She did not stop, however, and expanded her skills by becoming a director. Netflix acquired her directorial debut film Bruised, earning her an impressive $20 million. With this initial win, we can expect many more from the newly-minted director, perhaps with investments coming from top-rated producers. The actress also made millions in acting, such as with Catwoman, where she got paid at least $12.5 million. She also earned from her other movies like Swordfish and Die Another Day.
