With Oprah interviewing the royals Harry and Meghan recently, her name is quite the buzzword these days. We all know her rags-to-riches story and how, in the past, the family has resorted to asking for personal loans to make ends meet. Those days are indeed over, and how the media mogul has built an empire out of her struggles. She has also served as an inspiration not just to women but to everyone.

If Oprah had financial troubles in the past, now she could afford to buy as many real estate properties as she wants. Her primary residence, estimated to be worth around $50 to $100 million, is located in Montecito, California. The estate sits on a land measuring 42 acres, and she has dubbed it the “Promised Land.”  She purchased this megamansion back in 2001, and it boasts of having magnificent views of both the ocean and the mountains.  The sheer size of the place is mind-boggling, a testament to it being the Promised Land, indeed.
