Sigourney Weaver is one of the biggest names in Hollywood. She is a winner of several awards, from Golden Globes to BAFTA. Although her peak career was in the 80s, Weaver hasn’t stopped acting, which is why she remains one of the best names in the acting world. She has a degree in English but found herself falling in love with acting. Her first gig was in Annie Hall, together with Woody Allen, but it was in the Alien franchise that propelled her to stardom.

Weaver’s other projects included films like Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, Death and the Maiden, Copycat, and Galaxy Quest, to name a few. Although she often appeared in sci-fi movies, Weaver was able to break from the mold and landed roles in Heartbreakers, Holes, Vantage Point, and Baby Mama. She has also stated that she is willing to reprise her role as Ripley for future Aliens movies as long as she likes the script.
